Stretch the Clown

Performance Type: Roving

Skills: Stilt walking, juggling, poi, giant ribbon, clowning, balloon twisting

Stretch the Clown takes clowning to new heights! Larger-than-life, interactive and funny, this skilled character will add colour and atmosphere to any festival, community event or function with her circus skills and personality, and is a hit with the children!

Twirling a multi-coloured giant ribbon, Stretch the Clown will have children mesmerised, as well as entertained by juggling and poi displays. Stretch the Clown is a bit cheeky too, so be prepared for some fun! Her balloon sculpting will always be a favourite with children, as they line up to wait to see what Stretch will create next. Stretch has performed at family fun day, festivals, community events, regional shows and events, parades and rallies, primary school fetes and corporate functions.

“Stretch the Clown was fantastic for the opening of the Southbank Library! She entertained young and old alike with her circus skills and crowd interaction. They especially loved the balloon twisting! Id recommend Stretch to anyone.“
- Jessica Tuckerman, Partnerships and Outreach Librarian (Melbourne Library Service)
