    Daniel Aubin

 

Daniel Aubin

Daniel is a former national gymnast of the Olympic Training Centre in Canada. He has worked in theatre, film, stunts, festivals, special events and circus for the past 10 years. From 2000-2005 Daniel toured Europe, Asia and North America with the award winning Acromaniacs. He now resides and performs in Adelaide, Australia. He teaches circus and physical theatre at a number of tertiary institutions and is the current Artistic Director of Cirkidz Youth Circus School. Performance specialties include hand balancing, acrobatics, movement, juggling, and slapstick.

    Triton Tunis-Mitchell

 

Triton Tunis-Mitchell

Triton was caught trying to balance on the Hills-Hoist clothesline at age five. His mother did the right thing and enrolled him in Cirkidz Youth Circus School. Growing up as a junior performer he made a successful transition to professional performance over 10 years ago. Triton is a qualified physiotherapist and now splits his time between his inner-city clinic and performing and teaching acrobatics and body health at a variety of centers around Adelaide. Performance specialties include hand balancing, juggling, cigar box manipulation and slack wire.

Jacinta Rohan

Since her natural flexibility was noted at the age of three Jacinta has continually competed in and performed callisthenics, ballet, musical theatre and modern dance. In 2005 Jacinta embarked on a Bachelor of Circus Arts which she completed in 2007, specializing in contortion, hula hooping, dance and hand balancing. Since graduating Jacinta has been flown across Australia to perform her incredible contortion skills and continues to inspire audiences with her grace and extreme flexibility.

Anthony DeMasi is Melbourne’s sensational new breed of magician. Melbourne is the magic capital of Australia and Ron is one of its long standing citizens. With over 25 years of magic and variety entertainment to his credit he has done it all. From many a suburban lounge room to the stage of the Rod Laver arena and numerous tours throughout Australia and New Zealand. Ron was resident magician at Jean Jacques by the Sea for four years and resident magician at the Park royal Hotel Melbourne for over nine years and is currently one of only four resident magicians at the Crown Casino.

    Chris Carlos

Chris Carlos

Hailing from the Gold Coast Chris moved to Melbourne at the beginning of 2006 to further his performance career. One of Australia’s top fire performers Chris has performed across the world and won awards internationally for his high calibre fire skills. Chris specialises in fire contact staff, fire poi, adagio and acrobatics. In 2009 Chris successfully organised and ran “SpinFest”, Melbourne’s first fire spinning convention which attracted participants from all over the world. Chris is currently completing a Bachelor of Circus Arts at NICA (National Institute of Circus Arts) as well as being busy performing his popular fire show “Mystifire” across Australia.

    Gina Nomachi

Gina Nomachi

Gina is based in Melbourne and has been face painting since Oct 2001. She began her training with America’s largest face painting company, Enjoy Your Face. She worked with them for 3 years as an assistant manager in Japan at Universal Studios. Since returning to Australia in 2005 Gina has worked with the Melbourne Zoo for approximately 3 years, as well as working on many large corporate events such as the Grand Prix and Australian Open. An accomplished artist, Gina won Melbourne’s 1st Body Painting Competition in 2009 and helped create the second event in April 2010. Gina has also been an instructor to Australia’s 1st Face Painting Convention in 2008. Gina is a member of That’s Bogus Body Art Group, which she helped form in 2009. Body Art is her passion and she hopes in the future to compete and instruct internationally.

    Ambah O'Brien

Ambah O'Brien

Ambah has been painting faces and bodies for over 12 years. Passionate about this progressive art form, Ambah is continually developing her skills and evolving her talents. Ambah regularly provides face and body painting for launches, promotions, festivals and other special events. She can paint people in a costume or provide entertainment painting her model live on a podium as the audience watches. In demand to work throughout Australia, USA and Hong Kong, Ambah taught her unique painted jewellery techniques at the 2009 FABAIC (Face and Body Artist International Convention) Orlando, USA. Ambah runs regular face and body painting workshops throughout Australia for private and public groups. Ambah also spent a year working and living with Australian Aboriginal artists from Central Australia, an experience that is often reflected in her artwork. Ambah is also currently producing jewellery & accessories and supplying several stores with her pieces.
