
Performer Biographies
Raphael Bennett-DalyRaphael grew up and is based in Melbourne. In 2003 he travelled to France and during his travels he visited a town called Fontaineblue. It was there that Raphael was introduced to the art of juggling and he has been juggling ever since! In 2005 Raphael was accepted into the National Institute of Circus Arts where he began a circus degree specialising in juggling and movement. Whilst studying he received a scholarship and in 2007 he completed his degree. Since graduating Raphael has performed across Australia and continues to explore the relationship between juggling, movement and character that has lead him to develop his unique performance style. Leigh Alicia MarningLeigh Alicia is a 5 times national champion in rhythmic gymnastics and represented Australia in the 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games where she won 7 medals. In 2001 she ventured into the world of circus where she undertook and completed a degree in circus arts at the National Institute of Circus Arts, specialising in contortion, hula hooping, aerials and acrobatics. After finishing her degree Leigh Alicia was accepted into the prestigious "Cirque Du Soleil" where she was employed as a contortionist and acrobat in their production “KA” at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for two years. Leigh Alicia returned to Melbourne in 2006 and has since performed in Sydney, Balina, Newcastle, Brisbane and the Central Coast where she has received much praise for her performance abilities. Daniel AubinDaniel is a former national gymnast of the Olympic Training Centre in Canada. He has worked in theatre, film, stunts, festivals, special events and circus for the past 10 years. From 2000-2005 Daniel toured Europe, Asia and North America with the award winning Acromaniacs. He now resides and performs in Adelaide, Australia. He teaches circus and physical theatre at a number of tertiary institutions and is the current Artistic Director of Cirkidz Youth Circus School. Triton Tunis-MitchellTriton was caught trying to balance on the Hills-Hoist clothesline at age five. His mother did the right thing and enrolled him in Cirkidz Youth Circus School. Growing up as a junior performer he made a successful transition to professional performance over 10 years ago. Triton is a qualified physiotherapist and now splits his time between his inner-city clinic and performing and teaching acrobatics and body health at a variety of centers around Adelaide.
